Daily Snapshot – July 22, 2016

Today’s Daily Snapshots:

  • Josephe Vandel, through Tin Raven Press, has launched a Kickstarter that funded within 24-hours, meeting its $551 funding level. The campaign, which provides high-quality digital maps for use in your own personal campaigns is now on to a set of stretch goals. Maps in the campaign are provided in multiple formats, including black and white versions, gridded and ungridded, and labelled and unlabelled. Also included in the campaign is a set of postcard maps, which also include pre-created content on the back of the card for you to use with the maps. Another inclusion is zines that can be self-printed. The campaign is running until Wednesday, August 17, 2016.
  • Troll Gods (not related to Troll Lord Games) have released Issue 1 of Troll Gods Zine, a new free monthly digest publication that supports old school gaming. The publication is released as a web-friendly version as well as a version for printing out. This premier issue is 20-page publication. Submission guidelines are also available on the site.
  • Battlefield Press have released the Swords & Wizardry version of Sherwood The Legend of Robin Hood on DriveThruRPG [AL] and RPGNow [AL]. The 74-page publication costs $10.00 for the PDF.
  • Over at The Lonely GM blog, Tzi José Luiz has posted an article about having monsters as the effect of a madness or a disease.
