Random Tavern Patron Generator for quick PC or NPC generation

Over at his blog Death and Axes, +Topher G posted about taking James R. “Grim” Cone’s Swords & Wizardry [AL] based tavern patron generator and automating it on a website. Now, just by visiting a single page, you can generate 10 characters with some basic information about.

Here’s some examples of some of the characters that it spits out.

Now, while you can use these for just having bar fights, it’s also an incredibly quick way to generate PCs on the fly, particularly if you’re prepping for convention play or you need a lot of pre-generated characters. You’ve still to do so some work to add personal details and equipment, but with another couple of tables, perhaps from those supplied in B2 Keep in the Borderlands [AL], you’re pretty much set for play.
